I initially felt this unit passed muster though i disliked the placement of the headphone jack which i use because i like to listen to my voice through earbuds while dictating

However when i uploaded my first dictation to my transcriptionist she gave it an immediate thumbs down and said it made my voice sound tinny

When olympus switches to a better microphone and moves the headphone jack then ill switch

I have used olympus for dictation with good results for many years but recently my phone based olympic app which we paid for lostseveral very important and long dictations what are taking me many hours to recreate because i have to go back and review documentsand find mark ups

I would definitely recommend not using this product without understanding this risk

The company informs me that the phone no longer has the recording when it is sent and that if the email sent does not make it to the emailaddress the recording is gone
