As i found out the hard way if youre foolish like me and pour the water in while the iron is still on i go through the water pretty quickly when ironing wrinkly clothes the struts will pop out while youre doing it startle you and the water will spill all over the place p

To me this is still a better situation than the struts constantly popping in and out every time you release the iron which im sure is not easy on the struts

Yet you still have that protection from the iron burning the ironing board or otherwise creating problems

Definitely make a point of scanning your receipt into your computer or if you ordered it online click the print option for your online receipt then select save as pdf and make sure you keep that pdf somewhere safe on your pc and of course make a backup of that receipt when i contacted oliso re how to claim the warranty they say they need that info

Disappointingly i never received an email from them stating that my iron was registered despite registering it which does not inspire confidence

However the customer service rep i emailed responded quickly and promptly to my questions and stated that he had created a case number i can reference if necessary to claim the warranty

Go ahead and register your iron even if you dont get a confirmation email stating you did so since this extends the warranty 3 months making it a one year 3 month warranty instead
