Unlike many books scalzi doesnt try to grab you by the throat with the first chapter
The story was just as fast and believable as i remember even with the far future tech
I recommend not bother with the rest
One issue i had with the story was related to alternate universes and skip drives

However i am so disappointed the bait switch tactic is used where after getting the customer interested using kindle unlimited the rest of the ebooks in this series 4 more lt 10 ea is so expensive for a no paper non printed non hard cover book
