I am a big okuma fan and my standard reel from them is the epixor

It is extremely lightweight holds a modest amount of line

If you have a ton of slack line around your reel and attempt to reel it in it causes this issue

To stop that from happening all you need to do is ensure there isnt a ton of slack around your reel while reeling
