The eva handle is more durable in the rod holder than cork.

Okuma magda pro line counter level reel. Works well with down riggers. I use it with dipsy divers, paired with an okuma pro 15dxt reel.

Quality and workmanship beyond its price point. Fit and finish is good. Comes with warranty.

These are good rods for leadcore/general trolling. Recieved the 7’ 6” medium action lake troller today. Okuma went with stainless eyes on the lead core/copper rod for the glt series.

Cons

These are inexpensive rods but once i saw them, they looked like they'd break easily. Dragging a rubber worm pulled back on a strike snapped in half above the joint. It’s a single use throw away in my case unfortunately. The price is not appropriate.

Packaging was good the product is a very good value for the money

Was using other rods and reels and decided to buy one okama to try
