The classic pro glt rods are incredibly versatile. The eva handle is more durable in the rod holder than cork, due to the strain of the rod loading up in the downrigger. I concede that i’m not using this rod for it’s designed purpose.

I have no doubt this would rake in some of the heaviest salmon and steelhead. Action is really good for dragging boards and fighting coho/king salmon. Gave them both the whip test to verify no cracked ferrules and to test the action.

Packaging was good, the product is a very good value for the money. Great action from the poles.

These are inexpensive rods but once i saw them, they looked like they'd break easily. There are crooked eyes and they are not all inline. I feel someone just palmed off on a broken rod.
