Pros
Large chunks of seasoned hickory. Different chunk sizes impart the flavor over time. No need to add chips when using these chunks.
Thank you gentleman. Gentlemen, touché, (that’s french). Really quality wood. They are even cheaper to boot.
Ok joe delivers at a better price than l. A. Brand. Great flavor great value.
Cons
Extremely disappointed. Had to finish meat in the oven. Bought the wrong wood chips.
No hint of mesquite flavor, just a woodsy, unappetizing taste. Just too small of pieces for my charcoal *.

Easy to throw some of the smaller chunks onto hot coals along with a few larger chunks resulting in some of the best ribs i’ve made to date
Burned nicely slowly and got plenty left to experiment with other cuts
These put off a ton of smoke without needing a water soak
Big nice solid chunks but they were more bits and pieces than i would’ve liked to see

Great value burns clean and flavors well

These chunks were far superior to the weber wood chunks that i have been using ever since i got my smoker
Lots of actual chunks as supposed to the splinters i get with the other brands
It was definitely better than charcoal smokein this package the pieces are some chunks and some smaller chips

I ordered these pieces of hickory because i wanted something to use that would impart good woodfire flavor to my grilled foods without having to spend too much on a small quantity

The wood does not seem to have any characteristics denoting lower quality than hickory youd use for any practical purposes

Id say one thing that i personally enjoy about the product was that it includes different sizes of wood so you get to select the thickness of wood chunks based on your needs

One of the issues with the finer wood chips that are popular is that they are often uniformly thin which means they burn quickly

With a variation in chunk size you get some pieces that burn off quickly and some that burn more slowly thus imparting your wood flavor over more time
