Pros
The spinner reel is my preference because i never worry about a birds nest, and i can get my bait in the water fast. It's just more cumbersome in those tight quarters with a longer rod, so a short trolling rod is perfect.
Cons
I have expensive rods and cheap rods, understand this one is cheap. My $99 ebay rod/reel combo is holding up better after 5 seasons. Truly * and not worth wasting your money for any of this company's products.
