Pros
Those laser pointers have a solid laser red “dot” that my cat goes nuts for and she gets a lot of good exercise chasing it. This pointer throws a shape instead of a dot and you can spin a slider to change the shape.
The pen is light and rechargeable. I'm happy with this one as long as it outlasts the battery kind. I also love that it's usb chargeable.
This laser pointer is great for our use, but also would even make a nice little gift or stocking stuffer. Packaging is elegant too. It was packaged in an unsealed box.
Highly recommend. Cats love it! This is perfect! My cats love this laser pointer as well. My cat loves it too.
Cons
This pointer makes huge patterns that resemble a flashlight more than a pointer. It has no dot!

My only issue with the laser pointer is as soon as you shine it more than 6 feet away the image gets very large and light disperses so its hard to see

If the company would have also included a small red dot like a regular laser pointer this would have been a great cat toy
