Also they are very small maybe the size of a marble

So now they float on top of the sump but get sucked down by the flow of water so they are in a constant change of wetdry

So upon opening my package i realized i should have paid more attention to the description as it says and shows these balls are tiny and i thought they were like golf ball sized

You can make one like i have in the picture for around 30 including a 800gph pump
