The mesh is fabric so as it is white it could get marked over time but if you are going to buy a white chair you need to appreciate that may happen

Lovely comfortable chair which looks a lot more expensive than it was although most probably would have gone for a different colour if i was to purchase again

Also assembly instructions say to screw the smaller of the screws from the bottom of the arm chair into the bottom cushion but mine wouldnt screw so had to use the big screws instead going against the manual but worked fine
