Pros
The mat does beautifully, stays in place and protects my floor as it should. Got to protect a hardwood floor for barstools. It sits flat and isn't overly noticeable.
Cons
Two of the mats have mold. One mat has mold in a 3 inch by 3 inch square. This is the residual mold inside the mat that keeps coming out.

Just fyi if you have a carpeted floor this thing is a total waste. It slides around all the time, and i constantly have to readjust its position. Also slides all over the carpet. Major tripping hazard.

For the price i thought i would try it

We have wood floors and we operated without a mat for a number of years then noticed the finish wearing away on the floor

Unfortunately enough grit make it off your shoes or other areas of the house onto the floor and once the office chair wheels pick that up its grinding it into the floor

So its not just the wheels themselves rolling across it causing the wear but anything the wheels pick up

I got this to better roam around my home office which is in a carpeted room and the carpet is decently fluffy i’d say and sadly this doesn’t work as expected

It’s a flimsy piece of plastic with enough thickness to protect hardwood floors easily

However i’ve found in my carpeted room the chair will sink into the carpet ontop of the plastic and become harder to move
