Pros

Red control sits on top of the socket. Can power coffee maker, air fryer, blender, etc. No need to unplug any appliance.

Cons

This is no longer a worthwhile purchase even if you're the kind of consumer willing to pay more for higher quality/heavier duty products. May work for lighter loads but not for this.

New' version has thinner and inferior plastic housing. Metal prongs, including the grounding prong is now made of sheet metal grade, folded material.
