There did seem some controversy over this as i didnt know what type i was going to get the plastic mityvac or the metal oem tools one so it was a toss up because both pictures are shown but still purchased because i was curious to know

In plain words its made in china but for the plastic one the package says oem but probably branded as a mityvac

Some seem to think this can apply pressure and it will not as it will only apply a vacuum

The one i received goes down to about 30 inhg but do not expect it to go down that far

Applying pressure is less precise since its developed by the strength of the pump handles return spring

The manual also has a section on brake bleeding as well as cautions when working with abs systems
