Pros

I'm also a tool belt hater and this solves both as i can keep a variety of tools on me to fix mistakes.

Works great for roughing or trim work too. I do high end finish carpentry in multimillion dollar home.

Plenty of pockets and pouches for tools and fasteners. No pouch for a small cordless drill, but each lower pouch could hold one without the bits.

It distributes the weight very well and i can wear it all day without discomfort. It's open back stays cool when it heats up. I feel less tired and my pants aren't constantly slipping down.

I’m 6’2” and 260 lbs, the vest fits great even when i have insulated bibs and a hoodie on. I'm 5' 10 and weight 215 is vest has plenty room and even goes bigger.

Cons

This vest is way overbuilt - double layers with foam between and black. The tool strap loops sewn on the side are way to tight to work correctly.
