Pros
Played it for an hour and slept soundly and peacefully. Mallets give a louder more solid sound. I have a few licks that i've managed to reproduce and build upon, but this would be tricky for a newbie.

As an entry level instrument the quality of the drum and items that come with it is really good
I will likely scrape the bad ones off with a toothpick and reapply with the supplied extras in a more consistent manner

Some of the tongues are bent lower than the surface from transit or manufacturing but can be bent outward as needed by pushing from the inside with a wooden handled spatula i didnt want to scratch it

The plastic overlapped the tongue gaps giving a raspy sound

Since they provided extra numbers i picked at a few of the offending numbers with a wooden toothpick and discovered that the numbers were actually decals remove the clear plastic and only the number remained
