The finish is not too smooth and slippery, important if your summers are hot and sweaty. The pattern is really cool too, crisp.

I have small hands and it is comfortable to hold and easy to play without overstretching to reach all the holes. The pouch is a nice shape and can easily take a strap to go over your shoulder, or a carabiniere clip to attach to your jeans.
It's a great deal for the price, and i'm assuming pretty good for beginners. It's sad, but still it is good to play for a beginner. Would recommend to anyone looking for a starter ocarina with a cool pattern.
Overall a good purchase. Highly recommended.

For an ocarina with a supposedly a4-f6 range, it only produces 5 distinct tones. It produces an average of one tone per octave.

I first had bought one of those knock off legend of zelda ocarinas and it came to me untuned and evidently unplayable because it was just so unenjoyable to play

Maybe its just me but ive used several different tuning devices and drones to check its tuning and it seems slightly sharp

I dont know if its my blowing or if its the instrument but ive tried blowing softer and harder but it still seems a little out of tune
