Only recurring cost is a monthly tax of 3 dollars
Packaging/appearance
So folks dont waste your money on this obi110 and get stuck with it but get the obi200 or the obi202 instead
Competitiveness
99 for the gateway setup but already purchased a obi200 which is working perfectly
The latest firmware update version 1302886 may 2016 has kept my obi110 boxes going strong so far

As far as i can tell neither the google voice nor obitalk web portals tell you about them

As it were the old google chat feature in gmail has now become google hangouts and hangouts is required to toggle the obihai110 ringer mute function

For some reason the default settings are to mute sound notifications for incoming calls and texts which includes the phone ringer

The two checkboxes in the settings panel in the attached pic need to be unchecked otherwise youre going to have a silent phone

Just a few days ago the unit no longer connects to google but still works fine with ipcomm sip service
