Makes the leather supple and moisturized. It also has that traditional cured leather smell which then infuses into your item. Only caveat is it will reduce shine on shiny or finished shine leathers and does darken existing colours.

For waterproofing i used a thicker beeswax based leather protector

If you just need waterproofing i would recommend a wax
