Pros & Cons
Pros
The mold is small but it does the trick. Works best if snow is wet and heavy. Water fills the nose easier and final result is more like an ice chunk.
The photo is from her first attempt and we were so pleased with it. It's cute, granddaughter loves it. We're excited to leave little snow penguins in our friend's yard.
It's a bit tricky but probably sturdier than a hinge would be. Looks sturdy. Once mold is off the penguin is solid and sturdy.
Cons
The side clips break off really easily and are hard to get back one. Hard to slide the closure piece without snow. Also company very difficult to work with. Very poorly crated and engineered.
The penguin is adorable but it has these little sliding plastic pieces that are hard to manipulate with gloves on and keep falling off. Don't buy this item. It's a piece of junk.
Highlights
Quality
A little smaller than expected but overall like the product
I wish they were a little easier to stuff but over all a good quality
I ordered this with in mind something to play with
Not the best quality but served it purpose
Packaging/appearance
The package arrived in thin manila packaging and the break could’ve been prevented if the package was mailed in a box instead
Before we got the gist of it we just fashioned a beak and stuck it to the face after removing the mold

Since it was a fluffy snow it was difficult to pack into the penguins beak unless we packed that with a snowball before closing
