I actually had tried vinegar right before this and it gave similar results

After troubleshooting my boiler with the company they told me i needed to clean the scale out the system to fix the fluctuating temps and knocking noise

My boiler was starting to knock and sound more like a steam boiler

Arrived on time and worked well works great for sludge in boilers no need to drain entire boiler if sludge is moderate
