Pros & Cons
Pros
Great for homemade nutella or just to snack on. To either just munch on them or grind them for baking. The sun and soil of the black sea hits your taste buds the minute you start to savor the sweet'ish, crunchy, naturally-great fat and protein.
Most if not all of these hazelnuts come from a region in turkey where the climate and geography are ideal. The hazelnuts are excellent with just the right amount of crunch and flavor. They can be a wee bit hard to find at the supermarket.
I like them a little more roasted but that is something i easily can accomplish myself. It's better to have them less roasted as you cannot un-roast them after the fact. I'm going to attempt to roast them myself, and see if it improves the flavor.
