    What it actually says is that magnesium oxide is theslowest absorbing but raises blood magnesium levelsmore effectively than the other magnesiums used

    You have to take into account the elemental magnesiumin each dose and then factor in the absorption rateoxide might not absorb as fast as citrate or glucinatebut it stays in your body producing a slow release whichis actually more effective at raising levels otherwise yourun the risk of eliminating the excess not usedimmediately from the other types
