Per the instructions you use a qtip swab to wipe against your vaginal wall then gently apply to the test strip
However i strongly believe it should only be used for maintenance purposes and not as a replacementalternative for your yearly gyno checkup

But as i started reading them it became clear that that many reviewers don’t have a strong grasp of phph testing and thought the strips weren’t working but based on the info they provided it sounds like the strips were working
