    Works great on all 3, watching netflix on a surface pro 3, worked great on 2 sets plugged in straight from a roku remote, and worked great watching roku, and listening through the phone app as well.

    This was not clear to me when i received it, but after some playing around, we learned it didn't matter where the tablets plugged into.

    As for me personally, the sound for each output decreased as more were plugged in, and relying on independent volume control became paramount (tested 4 headphones simultaneously).
