The temperature reading seems pretty accurate, as compared to other digital and * thermometers i have already. Seems accurate, at least as far as consistency goes.

I find this thermometer extremely convenient and super simple to use. Fortunately, i see someone else on amazon must have had the same question as me and the instructions are easy to follow.

All three of us are sick and i check my temp with an * thermometer. The temp varies each usage after each other with the same person. I wonder where the doctors, dentists, and certain businesses get their thermometers.

It reads a little low compared with an oral thermometer so i assume the calibration is done in such a way that it doesnt try to mimic oral thermometer temps

Other models seem to have finicky things like you must be touching the forehead or you need to “swipe” across to get a reading and other things that we cannot seem to figure out
