Pros

Measurements given here are those of the receptacle portion of the unit, exclusive of the lid with the sensor. Liters/. It uses 2 aa batteries, and does employ an energy savings mode when at rest. The battery life (this one takes 4 d) is excellent.

At 3 1/16 high and 7 in diameter, this gem is just the right height and ample enough to accommodate at least a few weeks worth of lint. I highly recommend this nifty and reasonably priced little unit.

Cons

With less than 12 moths life expectancy with normal use, this product is useless. While sometimes it was an amusing trashcan, with a quirky personality, it isn't really useful. Please go to simple human or even a target brand.

The instruction sheet is also defective. Changing the batteries did not help. Tried changing the battery, but still have the same problem. It opens and closes with no one in the room.
