Pros
When you consider how much loss is in buying and chopping green onions when you are cooking for 2, this is a saver. Easy way to add chopped green onion to salads, soups and stir fries.
Non-gmo, natural, no preservatives. They always reconstitute before the eggs are finished cooking. That works, but there are usually a few days after i buy them before i chop them because i procrastinate a lot.
Cons
About half the onions are brown; they have no aroma and very little flavor; and they’re tough and chewy. Didn't get a pouch but a spice shaker. No flavor, no aroma.

I do better making my own and let them dehydrate these are kind of over dried and kind of tasteless

It’s not savoury enough like other dried ingredients to use as a seasoning but since it’s dried you can’t use it in place of fresh scallions for things like noodles

Update on jan 2022 i started buying a different brand 16 oz box of dried scallions because it was much cheaper

I started off buying green onions and keeping them in the fridge but i got tired of them spoiling pretty fast before i could finish using them
