Its an intelligent book but its not overimpressed with its own intelligence or trying to be too clever and ending up confusing and pretentious

The ending is unexpected but not so jolting that the story doesnt seem finished

Though i was unhappy to find that this book will have a sequel i didnt feel like the story being told was only half over rather it seems just that there is more to the fictional universe that needs to be explained
