Pros
The product works flawlessly. It fits comfortably on my laptop and it is easy to put in and take out. The only downside is that it wasn't compatible to the protective shell i had on my mac.

Cons
When it's plugged in there is a gap, about 1/4 inch, from the bottom of the item and the table. I suspect that over time this will weaken either the plugs on the hub or the plugs in the laptop.
The usb-a ports seem like they've been glued in crooked or something. It is very difficult to plug a usb into them properly. The ports no longer provide power / connectivity to my computer from any of the external devices.

The only thing is that once computer go to sleep it is no easy to wake computer up and this product will not work if you have a case on your macbook
