Not exactly as any other alines stories not exactly aliens are in the core of it as many chapters are going rather about political ramifications and clever pr machines in work

I enjoyed the most characters i suppose as i couldnt stop thinking about what they might do next not alines

Without giving away too much its less about the aliens and more about people and how they react to media and politics all of course wrapped up in what feels very much like a giant episode of the xfiles

I dismissed the thought every time because it mattered not a jot

I also liked the way that just when you thought you could see where the story was going a plot twist or two would leave me wondering what just happened and what on earth was going to happen next

I know the author has written a follow up but i think this is a good stand alone novel that would transfer well to the big screen in the same genre as contact with jodie foster
