Pros & Cons
Pros
Best brew kettle anywhere. Plenty of volume for 5gal batches with no concerns for boil overs. Rubberized handles make handling it a breeze even when moving it directly after (or even during) the boil.
It is solid. The thick clad bottom distributes the heat evenly. Seems to be very sturdy and very reasonable quality sending this one back hopefully the replacement doesn't come dented.
Cons
Too much hassle. Unit displayed in picture is not the pot you will get. Started to fail after just 3 cooks.
Highlights
Quality
I ordered two of this pot and as i expected quality is really good
This is a very high quality product i cant wait to brew my first batch in it
Decided to spend some money on a legitimate quality brew kettle
Box was fine the big dent in the bottom of it so it looks like a quality control issue during production
Shipping
The shipping was so fast i hardly had time to get things ready to brew with my new pot
The pot shipped quite fast however i had to forward it abroad through a different carrier i paid a lot for shipping abroad but ... Read More
Packaging/appearance
The siphon downspout for draining allows getting all of the liquid out of the pot
To get it to even marginally work requires endless tweaking of how tight you put the fittings onto the kettle
There is no bearing surface for the dip tube rotation except the oring that keeps the seal to the outside of the kettle
I figured we can just fill the bottles through the faucet

This is made a little easier with some silicone lube but im constantly paranoid that ill spill my wort out if i rotate the dip tube as its just too easy for the included oring to bind up between the pot and the ball valve

This needs either a different geometry on the oring or a complete rethink of the mechanism
