Cons

The wood is essentially unfinished and has no clear coating like every other i've seen. The locking bars rub against the woodwork and walls and damage them. Dangerously cheap wood.

Splintered within 5 uses. It’s just a matter of time before it snaps.

These are just horrible. Such a disappointment. I know how it works, and it worked well one time, one time, but all else is an exercise in futility. Did not work for my cat.

If this were given away for free, it would still be overpriced. But if you were planning on using this for long-term use, the product description and photos are completely deceptive. and trying to revise history by changing their product photos.

Wish it wasn't so freakishly tall. The only good thing about this gate is the clamp used to lock the bar in place. It is very flimsy.

The metal lock is a little stiff at first but definitely loosens up over time

Great price for a hard to find width

But it was decently priced and i still use it a few years later

It does the job and for the price you can’t really beat it
