Pros
It works great because it swings in either direction and is expandable. So,a 2 handed operation it is in order to latch this gate shut but out is so worth the effort. Has this hinge type setup which makes it easy to use in any direction.
It's so easy to setup, and easy to extend when i'm rushing in the morning. Was a breeze to setup. Looks nice.
The quality is sturdy and splinter free. It is also sturdy and dependable. I just wish they made a steel version for those willing to chew their way out.
Cons
Having to hook 2 latches is difficult, contrary to the pictures on the box. It is flimsy, pinches you constantly if you don't handle it a certain way. These locks are very difficult to latch at times.
