Only one switch near the top though

Turning the switch turns the lower lamp on turning it again turns the second one on so both are on turning it a third time turns off the lower lamp so just the top one is on and turning it yet a fourth time turns the top light off so they are both off

I had seen the online pictures of course but the actual product was better looking than it photographed

The lamp tips a bit perhaps because of the weight of the reading lamp but a thin folded paper as a wedge fixes the problem
