These are a full frame filternot the flimsy kind with an edge frame that wants to bend in with the suction from the blower motor

The only difference is that the merv 8s are white and the 7s were blue

I had no idea what a merv was so i did a bit of research and decided on merv 8

Not true if you live in an area like arizona where the dust is and issue have to change every month
