Pros

Nordic pure hvac filters are great for allergy sufferers. Filters out impurities as well. Great value for the money.

These filters are a perfect replacement for the lennox 6670 filters. Have been using these filters since replacing my gas furnace and central ac with a lennox model 5 years ago.

Cons

Filter element is made of some rather light and porous fleece. Carbon is a thin flat sheet of black foam spread across the back of the filter. No foam strips on the top or bottom to make better seal. I doubt investing in these merv15 filters will resu... Read More

They are weirdly sized - shorter on two dimensions and longer on one. They are approximately 1/8 inch narrower than 16 inches wide and do not fit properly in my lennox unit. Too tall in the 16 dimension.

Debating the exacting dimensions isnt worth the time just go with the industry trend

These filter work great and the price is right

The price has gone up but they are worth it

Packaging/appearance

Bad both filters in the pack i bought were 12 longer than spec and maybe 14 deeper

Ill use this and the other filter in the pack but i doubt ill buy more

Competitiveness

By ordering the two pack i have filters for each of my 6month filter changes

I purchase in qty of 4 in order to maintain costs

This isnt lumber its entirely reasonable to expect a 16x25x5 filter to be 16 by 25 by 5 inches

Also these do not have foam strips to provide a good airtight seal unlike namebrand filters
