Pros

Love the nordic pure pleated furnace filters. Used the merv 10 to replace amerv 8. Compared to the same nordic merv 8 filters i bought two years ago these have thinner cardboard framing and fewer pleats.

There are no markings anywhere to indicate they are merv 10 filters. Only the big box has a label of 13 and the filters themselves are completely white. No merv rating, brand, nothing.

It was more cost effective than purchasing additional or oversized air purifiers for my home and added no additional maintenance or upkeep

Shipments have arrived on time and the box used is fairly sturdy to help prevent damage

The box stated nordic pure merv 8but nothing appears on the individual filter

And they come in a package so i dont have to worry about getting more everytime i change a filter out

Competitiveness

So i switched from high density filtrete to nordic pure and all seems to be good

Solid construction compared to brands carried at your typical home improvement stores

Im sold and wont go back to the old cheap filters i used before

I also made a comparison with the aerostar merv 8 and i discovered that dimensionally they are identical
