I have yet to see any fish icons displayed when i have used it at millerton lake near fresno california but this sonar device really isnt advertised as a fish finder

It only took one phone call to norcross and patrick in their customer service department assured me hed replace it right away with a brand new one that he personally tested leaving it underwater overnight

He immediately sent me a new one charged it to my credit card and included in the box with the new sounder was a postage paid return slip

Furthermore the manual recommends you swivel it around underwater to detect the fish
