Pros

In short, i recommend because it is the blackest ink i have ever seen.

Heart of darkness is a superb descriptor for this ink. I like that it is impervious to nearly everything. Comes in beautiful packaging.

Noodlers ink and the accompanying refillable noodler ink fountain pen. Flows smoothly and doesn’t clog my favorite pen.

The ink lasts forever and is super dark. It flows very smooth with a wet look that is dryer than expected. It has a nice wet flow and dries extremely black with a matte finish.

Noodler's inks are always a great value for the money, and nathan t makes sure that his customers get the best bang for their buck. A bit of tweaking to the feed and nib setting can make the charlie a useful tool.

Cons

It seems to dry more slowly than the lamy ink i am used to. A misleading video on this product page shows someone placing a piece of paper under running water while the ink stays fast. It is positively dangerous as a container for ink.

The pen is not piston fed, and when i dotted my first i with it, it dropped a glob of ink the size of a pencil eraser. I realize that one must be careful with fountain pens as they leak easily if you do not take care to follow the instructions. My oth...  Read More

Took a long time for me to find the perfect ink

Obviously any ink will smear while it’s wet but this also seems to dry a bit faster

Dont expect any fancy screenprinting labeling

One of these was done on water color paper 140lb 300gsm watercolor paper not cotton and the other was the before and after on plain copy paper

I am very disappointed at the results

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

On the water color paper it bled like crazy and reacted a lot better than most of my water color paints and bloomed all over the place wherever the water touched it and this was on dry paper after it had dried

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The copy paper didn’t do as bad but still left a faded residue of the ink where the water touched it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I’m assuming that by waterproof the company meant that the ink is still there after submerged in water that the ink mark still remains on the paper and doesn’t go completely away because this is definitely not the same definition of being resistant to water as i was expecting
