Pros

Non-slip rug pads really work and add nice cushioning. I use these for under my bathroom rugs that don't have any anti skid backing. This mat is used in the long hallway from our den to the bedrooms.

The rug pad gives a little cushion to the rug which makes it pleasant to walk on. I also have one under a small area rug and that too has been solidly in place. Now the rug seems more plush when stepping on it.

Cons

These are no good for harwood flooring. My carpet still slips around my hardwood floor. Chemical/rubber odor is awful.
