I removed the fan and put another noiseblocker fan in the same spot and it made the same whistling sound

There is a metal plate that was directly under the fan that was causing the fan to whistle somehow

If a person is going to place a lot of fans in their rig i would probably go with them

I dont think that these fans make a lot of noise but if you have 7 or more fans in your system the sound adds up

After trying countless fans over the last 13 years this is the best you can get for controllability performance and silent operation static pressure all with pwm controller
