Quality
Like all noctua fans the build quality is exceptional
Overall you pay what you get and very happy with the product
I put this notuca fan in with the noise reduction cable that comes with it because it is running on a fan splitter and it is dead silent
As always superb quality in a great quiet fan what we have come to expect from noctua
Packaging/appearance
However i wish noctura would sell them in bulk packaging
The fancy retail packaging screws adapters etc all inflate the price of these and i just end up throwing all that stuff away
Included in the packaging are attachment screws and rubber grommet fasteners
Competitiveness
Bought two of these to replace a competitor’s fans i use for cooling of an av cabinet
As expected of a noctua this an amazing quiet fan
So i did myself a longterm favor and i replaced it with a noctua nfa8 uln premium fan
I have never had a noctua fan fail and some have been in service continuously for many many years

Only suggestion the antivibration mounts x 4 pieces should include an extra piece for spare

My 4 fans during installation i got 2 pieces broken with my finger pulling thou the broken mounts are still workable but very hard to get them worked

I need cooling i need it quit it is long distance radio picking out faint radio signalsi needed it without electrical rf interference

Bought this to replace my old cpu fan that sounded like a jet plane it was so loud you could even hear it through headphones and had to raise your voice at bit if you were having a conversation anywhere near the monitor

The be quiet fan made a horrible whining noise that drove me nuts
