Pros
It's in the weather, but inside a wire cage below the feeder. Comes with a carrying strap, and the box has molded-in handles which are comfortable.
U1 sealed lead acid (sla) 12v battery fits nicely in this. Great fit for the u1 along with it's high cap and reverse polarity cousin. Used it for a small 12 volt battery to power an infrared light for night hunting.
Cons
The dimensions provided are not the internal size. These vents are superfluous. There are large vents on the side, ie, the wire trace holes.

I bought this for my john deere gx325 had to modify for terminals but turned out pretty good

Unfortunately all the dimensions of the lid pretty much made it impractical to put more than a switch and voltmeter due to the angles and such

It wont be used in rainywet conditions so the vents which include clipon covers arent a concern

However i needed a storage box to protect against accidental short circuits to the battery posts as this battery could arc weld if shorted
