This book is extremely concise and straightforward. This book breaks down concepts into smaller concepts than most math books, making each concept less daunting and easy to tackle.
Khan academy, which is interactive, seem to hold students' attention. The instructor is a wonderful teacher and is very thorough in his teaching. Some of the poor reviews here are due to inability to access the videos.
