The lift the flaps are wonderful, the characters are cute and likeable. The storylines are easy to follow for the kids.
Cons
The book title is a bit misleading. The text is bizarre, often irrelevant and difficult for my little one to understand. Worst ever. Rewards for not being an an.
It's a bit disjointed and does not deliver a solid message. Instead it launches into a million other things hands can do. It is better to make up a story while flipping the pages than to read the actual.
This book is barely about hitting and not once in the book does it say no hitting. Instead of hitting, hit pots and pans with wood spoons. If you want a book to teach about not hitting, select a different one.

My child could tell the book characters were being rude and he would say “no” for bad behaviors and “yes” or thumbs up to the positive alternatives
