Pros & Cons
Pros
Janet lansbury's advice on how to deal with a tantrum. Keep an even tone, persistence is key, when you fail, try again. Let them cry or hit a pillow until they get those bad feelings out of their systems.
It is to the point and summons different topics. Every word is gold. This book is amazing!
Discipline your child with love and kindness. Sometimes it can be traced to a major life event such as getting a sibling, going to preschool, or moving. This book is by far the most important parenting book.
Cons
Not every unacceptable behavior is a cry for help. Food-flinging is an unacceptable behavior (it hurts everyone's ears) the author is very condescending, and treats the parent as if they’re the bad guy. That hurts her.
