Pros & Cons

Pros

The handles are still solid, and the surfaces have maintained most of their initial grittiness. Good for beginner and intermediate play. All of these paddles cost $150 or more and they are all excellent but have different specs.

This one is a definite upgrade from most of the cheapies on amazon that are sold in sets. I can vouch for this with my own personal experiences with them. Received exactly what is pictured in mx-06 set.

Onix's voyager pro is an elongated pickleball paddle with a graphite surface. For serves, particularly my vicious sidespin and screwball varieties, the explorer seems much more consistent. The voyager is now my go to paddle.

Cons

The grip and the plastic edging are faulty. This elongated version is not as consistent as that one. My explorer paddle is still intact, but my explorer pro model snapped at the handle.

The racket has a cheap feel. The paddle has a lot of vibration and impact on the elbows. I come from a tennis background and know a sweet spot when i hit it, but these virtually have zero.

Quality

It sounds great and feels like a quality product

Overall this racket is very well made light but not too light and quick

Despite the thin 13 mm core it generates only soft ball noise

I dont believe my spin game has changed much but thats probably due more to poor stroke mechanics on my part than it is the racquet

Price

Based on the value for the price i felt the value was great

I feel that for the price this is a really nice solid paddle that will help you improve your game

If youve ever wanted to try out or buy a selkirk invikta power air or similar thin lightweight thermoform paddle but didnt want...  Read More

I bought a high priced paddle later and my game really suffered

Their customer service was quick to reply and sent out replacement paddles within 24 hours

They arrived quickly and in excellent condition

Reality is all paddles should be shipped like these are

Packaging/appearance

My paddle came very well packaged but it had a flimsy cover which should be a little larger as it is not easy to get the paddle...  Read More

Came with a nice cover as well

Competitiveness

Read many reviews of other brands and often those complained but so far these are great

Even compared to rackets of similar weight and size i find the aerodynamic cutouts make this racket feel faster

The selkirk texture is better than these and i havent played with the selkirks enough to give this a fair comparison

Theres a lot of companies that simply lie about this but niupipo is a legit brand with a dozen or more approved paddles

If youre an advanced player then you may have specific weight the specs say 8 oz but its actually 8

The grip is on the shorter side so if you are coming from a tennis background and used to a twohanded backhand this is not the racket for you

I personally prefer grip tapes with a center ridge which the included tape doesnt have

While i prefer this style its more prone to edge damage especially when youre starting out

Also if youre not sure that youll continue with the sport its a relatively expensive racket

This paddle is a bit thinner than my slk and a thinner paddle translated to more power
