If i i disconnect from supply socket and reconnect it’ll sometimes start charging. Feels sturdy, good quality (so far as a plastic cube goes). The lcd is clear and bright, gives info on battery capacity as it charges.

Update after a few months use the charger has started to have reliability problems

I have several original sony batteries the nitecore has started to sit at 8v or below and not charge the display shows good the voltage but no charge

The new nitecore ufz100 battery looks interesting if these are compatible with the a1 id be interested in trying oneupdate 18th aug 22 on a few occasions the charger seems to not charge above about 70 if i unplug the charger and plug back in it then works normally

I also don’t like the idea of using the charging port on the camera… seems a risk if it gets nudged snapped
