Pros & Cons

Pros

I have no affiliation with nitecore, they simply make great products deserving of praise. Purchasers determines their requirements before purchase. There are a few things that are worth mentioning.

Cons

Even with a quality anker qc power brick and cable, the charger is still inconsistent. In an emergency, overly-complicated devices are a detriment. Not this contraption. Any movement while plugged in puts stress on the solder.

When it isn't working, it fails miserably. No matter what charging current it is producing, it still says quick charge on the screen. Just stays at one bar.

Batteries end up overcharged and overheated. Others end up undercharged or completely dead.

Quality

Fantastic products have many of the previous versions this one does every battery out there works quickly efficiently must have

Easy to use charges quick and identifies the bad batteries you might have

I had a bunch of old batteries that still worked and it told me they were all poor based on resistance

Spread across 4 batteries it makes for slow charging

Price

A little pricey for what it is and it’s not very remarkable for fast charging if you just go straight micro usb to usb 2

Not a huge deal but it will fill my hand

Competitiveness

In my opinion nitecore is the best and i have used a lot of different brands the nitecore ums4 gets the job done

I have no affiliation with nitecore they simply make great products deserving of praise

May consider buying a different charger potentially another brand not sure yet

I have an older model same brand

I didn’t want to deal with a charger that makes any noise and wanted to be able to charge 21700 batteries

It comes with a micro usb cable but you have to use your own power supply which can be a power brick you use to charge your phone or tablet etc

It does support fast charging but you have to have qc power brick to do so

Example would be to charge small batteries like aa or aaa batteries at a lower setting so the batteries lifespan is not shortened
